On behalf of the Jury of the Adam Heymowski Prize, we are delighted to announce, with great pleasure and satisfaction, that this year the Prize has been awarded to the team composed of: Martina Bolom-Kotari, Waldemar Chorążyczewski, Miroslav Glejtek, Marcin Hlebionek, Vitaliy Perkun and Piotr Pokora — for the volume edited by Marcin Hlebionek, entitled Katalog pieczęci Jagiellonów, Toruń 2025.

The awarded publication is an extensive study devoted to Jagiellonian sigillography. The catalogue covers sigillographic monuments connected with the Jagiellonian dynasty, understood broadly as the family of the descendants of Władysław Jagiełło — both those who sat on the thrones of Poland, Lithuania, Bohemia and Hungary, and members of the dynasty who did not hold royal office. It also includes the seals of royal consorts, daughters and natural offspring, as well as other sigilla connected with the royal system of representation.

The book is arranged genealogically, which makes it possible to follow the history of Jagiellonian seals not only from a political perspective, but also from a dynastic and familial one. The publication comprises 490 pages and appeared as volume 46 of the series “Folia Jagellonica. Fontes”.

The Jury emphasized the high scholarly value of the work, its importance for research in sigillography, heraldry, genealogy and the political culture of the late Middle Ages, as well as the significance of this catalogue as an important tool for further studies on the Jagiellonian dynasty.

We extend our warmest congratulations to the laureates.
